Water temps have dropped the past week with colder nights and north winds. The snook fishing has been good with as many as 25 caught a day. Fish are really spread out as water temps have dropped into the 60's. Redfish are good with nice fish holding on the outside of the islands. Jigs has been the best fished slow as both snook and reds have moved to the deeper holes. Live bait has been fair as well as the fly. Good sight fishing as the water has cleared south. Big trout have moved in as well with fish to 22 inch's. Pompano moving in on the outside grass on the incoming tide. Tarpon have slowed but may get a run when the winter mullet show up. Some nice grouper have moved into the backcountry as we took a 29 inch gag a few days ago. We are expected to have warm temps this week with another front to hit this weekend. Get out and enjoy the great weather and fishing... Select another page || Go to Home Page |
