Fall is here and the weather has been up and down the last few weeks. We have had WIND for 5 days and cooler temps are coming in a few days. The snook fishing was excellent and then with the full moon, wind and low tides they shut down over the weekend. They have picked up the last few days as we took 15 snook today. Bigger average fall snook and they are both inside and outside. Redfish have been fair the last month with some 30 inch fish caught. The BIG surprise is the massive amounts of tarpon that have showed up. They are in a few key areas feeding on bait and we took a 180 lb fish 4 days ago. We have been targeting fish that average 70-200 lbs. It has been exciting to watch them feed in the bait. Alot of makeral and sharks near the beaches pushing the bait into tight areas. It has been easy picking when you can find them. Cooler daytime temps have made the days very enjoyable to spend on the water. Good fishing...
